By accessing or using SideQuest ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
SideQuest provides interactive games and activities for group events — both in-person and virtual — including a shared photo wall (photos and videos), trivia, scavenger hunts, and people bingo. The Service is designed to help event hosts create engaging experiences for their guests.
To create events, you must register for an account using your email address or by signing in with a third-party provider (Google or Facebook). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. When you sign in using Google or Facebook, we receive basic profile information (name and email address) from the provider to create or link your account. Your use of these sign-in methods is also subject to the respective provider's terms of service and privacy policy. Event guests can participate without creating an account by entering their name when joining an event.
You retain ownership of any content you upload to the Service, including photos and event information. By uploading content, you grant SideQuest a limited license to store, display, and process your content as necessary to provide the Service. You are solely responsible for ensuring that any content you upload does not violate the rights of others or any applicable laws. You agree not to upload content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
Free Tier: Events with up to 100 guests are free to use. Per-Event Payment: A one-time payment of $99 unlocks unlimited guests for a single event. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Refunds may be requested within 7 days of payment if your event has not yet occurred.
Event data, including photos, guest lists, and scores, is automatically deleted 180 days after your event date. We recommend downloading any content you wish to keep before this period ends. See our Privacy Policy for more details.
You agree not to: • Use the Service for any illegal purpose • Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems • Interfere with or disrupt the Service • Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use Microsoft Clarity, a user behavior analytics tool, to help us understand how users interact with the Service. Clarity captures session recordings, heatmaps, and click/scroll behavior to help us improve the user experience. Clarity operates in cookieless mode and does not set tracking cookies. The data collected is anonymized and does not include personal information such as passwords or payment details. SideQuest is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the past 12 months.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on our website or sending you an email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
